I attended Jackies cupcake decorating class and thoroughly enjoyed myself. As I have always struggled to bake / decorate anything (5-minute muffins by White Wings included!) in the kitchen, I was apprehensive about how I would perform in the class. Jackies ability to make you feel at ease meant that I felt comfortable in her beautiful space instantly. Jackies extensive and successful career as a chef means that she works exceptionally well with bakers (or in my case, non-bakers!) of all backgrounds. Jackie remained incredibly patient throughout the class and had me in stitches with her amazing sense of humour (make sure ask her to tell you the one about her stand-up comedy career!)too. Plus, the value of the class far exceeds the cost! I would absolutely recommend Jackie and all of her classes (I have already planned which ones I plan to attend next!) to everyone. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed with the skills and expertise (and comedy!) that you get to experience.
Im completely disappointed with my experience with Jackie. My husband bought me a $380 voucher in Feb 2017. I was booked in a class in July 2017, but it was canceled. As I was 6 months pregnant and it was hard to stand all day, Jackie gave me a 10 month extension. With a husband thats frequently away for work for 2 week stretches, a 3 year old and newborn and no family here to help, it was hard finding a class to attend. In Sep 2018 I called about the Nov and Dec classes, as there was nothing listed on the website. Jackie told me to send her an email and said shed let me know when she set the dates. I never heard back. In Oct 2018, my 3 year old son was in a horrific accident requiring surgery, an extended stay in hospital with a further 12 week recovery. I emailed Jackie and asked for a small extension. I never heard back. In Dec 2018, I emailed Jackie to explain my son was still having weekly hospital visits and asked if I could attend the 20 Jan 2019 class. I never heard back. In Jan 2019, she finally emailed and said the voucher was no longer valid. I emailed and phoned to ask if she would please reconsider letting me attend the 20 Jan class as it was only 3 weeks past the expiry, but she wouldnt let me. I acknowledge that Jackie had preciously extended the voucher but considering everything that happened and that it was a $380 voucher, I hoped she would be a bit more compassionate. Im really disappointed.

Thank you so much Jackie!! The novelty cake with dogs on it was such a hit at my birthday party!! Everything was amazing and delicious. Michelle tells me you were a pleasure to work with, and we will be back soon! Thanks again!
We had our wedding cake made by Jackie back in 2013 and to this day it is one of my most memorable parts of our big day. Seeing our cake for the first time just took my breath away, it was so perfect! The flavours were devine I had a design that I wanted and Jackie recreated it and exceeded all of my expectations. One thing I'll also remember was a wedding day card on our gift table from Jackie - a sweet touch that definitely didn't go unnoticed!
