I stopped going to this church probably 2 years ago. Yes they are welcoming, they said it's like family but it's far from the truth. And then one Sunday I went to have lunch with them because I was invited so I joined them. In the past I was invited but I declined, not because I did not want to, but because I don't have spare money and I live 12 minutes away from the church. When we were sitting, one of the males asked me to swap seats with me, so that he could sit next to his girlfriend. The guy never thanked me, nor talked to me after that and it was an old couple whom I conversed while having lunch that time. None of them approach me, nor introduce me to the group, they were too busy talking among themselves. Since then, I have never visited the church. Some people visit the church for one Sunday only and never to return, and I know why, they probably sensed it, that this church is not for them. Supposedly it's like a family (because it's a small congregation) but it's NOT, and they made you believe as well. If you are new to Brisbane and looking for a church, and trying to fit in, well this is NOT the right church for you.

Great place to get hitched or indoctrinate your kids. Belief system is antiquated and based on Iron Age mythology. Wouldn't marry my boyfriend and I but I've never had these guys knock on my door. Will visit again.
