At twilight you can see possums and bats in the trees, which might be a novelty if you are an overseas visitor. But be careful, today I saw syringes on the footpath. The free with fi service is sparatic, doesn't always connect. Perhaps it would be more interesting.if they let native animals roam around. Have bird feedings, parakeets lorikeets and rosellas. Turquoise birds and exotic species. The public art needs up dating. I was told at art school it should be replaced every ten years, a sign of prosperity in the community.
Enjoyed the park neatly maintained ,good relaxation place
Calm and soothing place. I totally recommend this place if want to spend time with your family.
Quiet place to relax or a hilly shortcut between Wickham Terrace and Turbot Street.
Like to run stairs? Jacobs ladder can be a great cardio hit. Really nice place to sit n have lunch or relax n read a book. Take a friend or 2 and run the stairs. Take a blanket and have a picnic. Lots of shade for those hot summer days. Handy to central train station.
