QueensPlaza is a fantastic place to shop in the city. Central to just about everything and a short walk from the train station the large air conditioned entrance draws you right in.Theres a small Coles supermarket near the food court, plenty of quick service restaurants and a few dine-ins on offer too.The main draw of the centre is the large David Jones store but they have began to incorporate a lot of high end fashion and jewellery stores into the centre.Parking here is EXPENSIVE though. Save other money and park in the council undercover structure a few meters down.
Quaint collection of shops including discount boutique, and Second hand shop featuring antiques and used jewelry at very good prices. Also on upper ground floor has a hairdressing/barber training studio at good discount prices
Clean, plenty of space and variety of shops. Food court has plenty of choice and is reasonable priced. Public toilets are always clean and not a big wait
The only reason you would go to DJ is try on clothes that you want to purchase but purchase them on line. I love the brand Maje and Sandro. I hovered around this section for a good 10 minutes....... left to my own devices while the Asian shop assistant was engrossed with her mobile phone. She was probably checking how much cheaper clothes are on line. An older lady walked past me and l pointed at the shop assistant and asked the lady what do you think of that. She commented well that wouldn't have been tolerated in this store once upon a time. Lift your game DJ....... seriously
Boujee as plaza (for Brisbane), on normal days pretty nice to go shopping and stroll around. During sales and late nights, a lot of human cockroaches visit, specially around the food court. Stock is quite limited too, but definitely worth checking the shops out. Channel perfume is definitely a reason i go every now and then, good stock and helpful staff.
