My favourite little bookstore around, Ive come here for many many years, and the reason is the selection fantasy, sci-fi and crime, but especially the staff pics and knowledge. Many times Ive come in and asked I love this book, this author, what do you recommend?, and their recommendations are always on point. Love this place, go support it.
Oh my god, I loved this store so much. One of my main goals while visiting Brisbane was to buy English language books, since I live in Taichung, Taiwan, and there's a very limited selection of English books available. Of course I could order them online, but it's just not the same. This was my heaven - almost entirely sci-fi and fantasy, masses of new works and old favourites. I mentioned to the person working that I'd be bankrupt if I lived near here! As it was a walked out with a bag full of books and would have come back for more if I'd had more space in my luggage. Still kicking myself for not buying that wonderfully anachronistic edition of Necromancer, a beautiful, classic hardback which wouldn't have looked out of place in an antique book shop...

Pulp Fiction is a great bookshop, specialising in crime, science fiction and fantasy. You will find a range of books here that you won't find elsewhere in Brisbane. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, will order books for you and send out a monthly catalogue. It is my favourite bookshop but often overlooked for no reason I can work out.
