Amaazing place. A lot of things to see. A bit pricey though. Its $16 for an adult and $7 for child over 5 and under 13.The war ship is in its original condition with many old mattresses, ropes still intact and kept inside. As the ship is not restored or preserved, it looks like its parked in the junk yard rather than in the museum. It should be maintained or atleast be painted to take off the rust and make it more appealing to the crowd. All being said, I still liked the overall experience as we could see many small chambers in their original shape. I have never seen the anchor room before and was amazed to see the width and length of the rope. The museum at back had lots of items to explore.PS: the ship is all metal and being on sunny side of Brisbane river it gets heated up fast. There are couple of pedestal fans but they can only do as much.

Great museum with very helpful staff. Also great to be able to walk around one of the ships involved with WW2 and reflect.

Nice place to spend a few hours stepping back in time and learning about some of the great things that have happened in the past during war or ocean exploring and sailing like the pink lady. The older guides are great and passionate in giving out information. Had fun

Great collection of Australian maritime artifacts, both recent and old including a heritage listed dry dock, World War II warship, tugboat and record breaking sailboat. A great lighthouse exhibit and many interactive exhibits - so much more. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

A great array of items, large and small. We had a very enthusiastic young tour guide who walked us through the ship - but did find some easier steps than the original ladders between decks. Take the opportunity not only to view the display ship and boats, but also the items housed in the adjacent buildings.
