Yesterday I had to take some faulty, Elastoplast Antibacterial XL WATERPROOF dressings, back to Priceline that I had bought the day before. 3 out of the 5 dressings in the box were not sticky enough to stay on my dry, clean skin - so after three attempts I decided I would return them. Not only did the staff not believe me, they opened one of the two left (that I must admit felt a bit more sticky than the others I had tried) and tried to tell me that the others mustve been fine too and it was me that was the problem. I then took out one of the dressings that I had put back in the box to show them and that still did not convince them. Finally after I waited for nearly 20mins for them to make a call or talk with their manager (whos knows) they came to the conclusion that I was right and that, no the others were not sticky at all and were indeed faulty. Their solution was then for me to contact the manufacturer directly myself as I was told they do not refund faulty products. This DOES NOT meet the standards of the fair trade or ACCC policy. And to top it off they tried telling me they were dressings only and not meant to stick, only a short 20mins after they were insisting the adhesives were sticky enough for skin. I am extremely disgusted and disappointed in how I and the situation were treated. I have been a loyal Priceline customer for 10 plus years and have been supplying this particular store with my business regularly for at least the past 2years, however I most certainly will not be returning.
