Another major interchange between buses and trains. Regular trains as well, depending on where you are heading of course.
This station has been a construction site for years! Similar to South Brisbane station but I would rather you South Brisbane!
This train station gets very hot, so be prepared if you have to wait for your train on Platform 1, there are never enough seats either. Platform 2 is shaded and it has seating. The new ticket office is much nicer, and the downstairs eateries and supermarket are absolutely magnificent, I enjoy coming here, but previously would avoid this stop.
Not enough sheltered areas on platform 1, only makeshift shelter with tarpaulin pulled over a frame. Staff member very rude when genuinely trying to seek help. Departure boards reguarly won't show expected train, normally Manly train in the arvo. Update: sheltered area on platform 1 has been missing tarpaulin cover for the last couple of weeks in temperatures consistently 30+.
