The apartment room was both well maintained and spacious, the shower had nice water pressure and was a good size. The balcony had enough room on it to house two chairs and a bench, and the longue room was again spacious and had a comfortable. The reception staff were all very helpful and kind too. I had a great stay, and would happily come back again. Thanks for helping make my stay that much more enjoyable.

simple hotel, for few days. staff very friendly. water at pool need to get clean more often, i saw cigarette on water.

Magnificent concierge staff! I leased a privately owned unit in Mantra on Queen for 6-months & I'm sorry to say, but the horrendous reviews about absurdly designed, dirty, impossible to navigate without 3-point turns car park, unreliable lifts working one at a time slowly or not at all, cockroach infestations, crashing rubbish chute disturbances, deafening noise from traffic, sirens, wailing weekend drunks, paper thin walls, random fire alarms, malfunctioning intercom systems & antiquated furnishings & facilities are all true.BUT... this building has been bought & I did see many signs of positive change prior to my departure.During my 6 month stay, dealing with the Front Desk/Concierge team was conducted with impeccable professional courtesy & friendly, approachable attitudes. They are second to none. From indefatigable Annie, the Building manager, efficiently helpful Karen, the new guys Will & Damien, the delightful young lady who introduced aromatherapy candles to the foyer, they are all outstanding. My absolute favourites are Tamika, who always made time to greet me, & every guest, in such a warm & welcoming way I felt like she was inviting me into her own home, the unflappable Jo who kept her cool through everything, even the long weekend when the plumbing went cactus & we had no hot water for days on end...& especially dear Ben, who sorted through all the packages to help me find a needle in the haystack & bent over backwards to provide solutions to my incessant accommodation challenges...you guys are hospitality superstars!I can't say I miss living at the Mantra on Queen...but I genuinely miss seeing your smiling faces! Hopefully the much needed improvements will make your jobs less like a front line platoon of soldiers on bloody battlefields at Hotel Hell. I cannot recommend The Mantra on Queen... except for convenience.BUT, the Concierge team are the best!Good luck!*December 2018 updateThe amazing 5 service from the concierge staff continued with excellence by the delightful Madison 3-months after my departure! A misdirected overseas parcel finally delivered to my old address 110 days later! Madison went above & beyond as a stellar hospitality professional to research my details to let me know & provided delivery options, securely set aside my item & presented it when I was able to get there with such kind eloquence, style & class she should be representing the finest, luxury accommodation or hostess at the top restaurant. Surprised but deeply appreciative to again receive outstanding customer service from Madison at Mantra on Queen. Thank you!

Really unimpressed with this hotel.- Good luck with the car park.... ridiculous trying to fit your car into a parking space safely.. soSmall and squishy!- The 1 bedroom apartment is tiny and so old... the bathroom is not functional.- The balcony is TINY and can fit 2 people just.....- You need to pay for the wifi...- There is no room service- The Cleaners just make them self at home and walk in your room after 1 Knock to clean the room.- Out cards kept stuffing up for the room door and the car park. I would never stay here again..

Stayed for a work trip and would look elsewhere in the future. Having previously stayed at many Mantra hotels I expected the same quality across the board, unfortunately that was not the case. My room was stuffy & the air conditioning did not work. No proper blankets on the bed - just a sheet had to grab a scratchy blanket from the wardrobe. Bed uncomfortable. Bathroom had been cleaned but was dated and grimy just because it was so old. Noisy neighbouring room (yelling/ laughing and doors slamming from 1-3am).No dinner facilities on site. As mentioned in many reviews - staff are very friendly! Mantra should be looking into improvements/ upgrades ASAP.
