All of the staff have been amazing. Especially Cindy in guest services who arranged an ice pack for me when I wasn't feeling well. Thanks Cindy! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Rooms are lovely too.

It's just very basic. The room is smallish, but nice enough because it's new. The 'city view' is at the backs of a handful of residential buildings. The bathroom is fresh but no better than those at most other reasonable 4 star hotels around the world or in Australia. The water pressure is weak, unfortunately. I was excited about the size of the big comfy looking bed but the sheets feel slightly damp & sticky so it's uncomfortable, and, well, damp! No sleep yet and it's after 5am!! Cranky. The hotel entry area is very hot & not ventilated (bar an industrial fan blowing a smell of rotting seafood around), and also seems to be where industrial bins are located. It reeks of rotten garbage - very poor design there. The room 'block out blinds', pictured, do not block out light. The room air-conditioning is set to not go below 20 degrees, which may sound ok but with westerly sun beating down, no other ventilation & ineffective light/heat blockage, it's warm in here! The check in lad was lovely, bonus. However, the hotel was overcharging me for the room, but would not respond to my emails seeking clarification about the issue prior to my having to address it with reception. I see another reviewer has referred glowingly to the great swim up bar... (sounds OK but, in real life, is small & gimmicky, like Gold Coast style 80s - 90s, but not as big or sunny, not open for service & in Brisbane city). I was told, and it was so, that the swim up bar is not open yet 'because it's not our busy time'. Maybe don't represent it as being open to prospective guests then! I'm disappointed with the hotel in general. This is just a v basic but new, reasonably small, hotel room - with a damp feeling bed. 2 stars because it's new. I won't be back. There are too many other lovely looking competitor establishments to try in this bland town and which are ready for guests & comfortable.

This place is by far setting the standard. The service has been awesome 11 out of 10. The food has been fine. The 450gm rib is a pleasure to eat. The swim up bar is great, when it's warm. The Westin is providing a new level of service. Thank you Westin Brisbane from a platinum member.

Great place to stay. Spacious suite with good amenities. Food and beverage on the pricey side but coffee is excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Excellent service, food was outstanding. The swim up bar and day beds by the pool are truly sensational. It really is a paradise in the heart of the city.
