The hotel is located in near centre of Brisbane. Its 5 mins walk to main central district. The hotel itself is quite clean and tidy. It doesnt have enough facilities however its great value for money.
We found the secret bar! Over to one side is a closed door, and a concrete staircase with no immediately apparent destination. However once at the stairs top, a beaut bar awaits you after opening that door. Glass viewing onto the river, and inside is a delight, dimly lit, and great drinks.
Good hotel, great location. Parking available on-site but cost $36 per 24h. This is a European style hotel which means there is no kitchenette, fridge replaced with a minibar etc. Still great place, just keep in mind
Very spacious and comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food ordered for room service was great. Views were awesome. Would happily stay here again.
I was looking for a venue for a ball and Mercure was one of the options. They had lots of different room choices however the walls and table set ups did look a bit drab. However they did offer to customise it and refine it for the event. Overall the lady that led us around the hotel was very hospitable.
