We arrived after peak hour (8.40). The manager assured us we would be seated within 5 minutes and showed us to the bar. We waited at the bar for about 25 minutes and were about to leave when we got our table. Waited another 15 minutes for service and then another 40 for the food. All up over an hour and twenty minutes before we ate. By this time it was near closing and we were just eating!!! What was worse was we paid about $150 for two steaks which were ordinary at best. $75 for a 3+ marble score steal is very very overpriced. Also, little things like our drinks getting knocked over by a hurried waiter and the manager arguing with us at the end when we complained rather than listen to the customer made our experience even worse.Dont go here unless you want to pay for sub standard steaks that are over priced and terrible customer service!!!
Brilliant value for money. Fantastic cuts of meat done to perfection with generous sides available. Each sauce has been clearly thought out as to what it pairs the best with by the chef, so I recommend not getting any extra sauces that may dilute the delicious flavour profile that has been concocted. They have a nice selection of drinks, both local and imported that accompany quite well. There is even a signature drink of theirs which involves wagyu fat that is worth a try. Most importantly of all, enjoy the meat and never ask for it over Medium Rare.
This is definitely one of the best places to go for steaks in Brisbane. I've been here twice and I think my steak was even better the second time. Our waiter was very friendly and took his time to guide us through each person's preference. My steak was cooked perfectly. The side dishes (especially onion rings) and mushroom sauce gave an extra magic spell to the already-yummy steak. The desserts were delicious too.I would give this place a complete 5-star if it wasn't until the end of our experience here. We paid at the front and the cashier lady was quite rude to us when we asked her to take a family photo for us. It was obvious that she wasn't willing to do it (and she wasn't busy/there was no other customers waiting or anything like that at all).
Celebrated a special birthday here last night and dined with the family in the private Port Office Room. From the minute we arrived the service was exceptional. The food was amazing, the staff were all incredible and our whole night was one of the most memorable we have ever had together as a family. Cant thank MooMoos enough for such a great night.
It's been a few months since I dined here, but I always think about the exceptional service of our waiter. Figured it's time he deserved the praise! Big thank you to "Kyle" for his incredible service and lovely manners. Remembered countless meals, drinks, and sides off the top of his head with no mistakes. Was kind and courteous and made us feel right at home. Would recommend Moo Bar if even just for Kyle's service!!
