Have been here with my girlfriend and we had amazing experience. Food wad beutiful and there was a friendly and nice waitress named Stella who was taking care of us. Thanks for letting us having fabulous experience at Sake. I won't forget this and looking forward to visit here again.
Beautiful positions, just next to the Brisbane river. The place is very well decorated and is nice to spend time in the restaurant. However, the food is average and it is quite expensive for what you get. The New Year eve menu is not worth it.On the other hand, the service is decent.
THANK YOU DOM. Expensive yes, but it warrants it. Food is great and the service is even better. We were served by Dom, he was beyond professional and polite. After introducing himself and explaining the dining style (sharing plates) he asked the table if we had any diatary requirements or allergies and then ensured my wife's unique diatary requirements were catered too for the entire evening and advising what cannot be modified. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT SERVICE. Would recommend to a friend
Food wasn't bad but definitely not worth the high prices. $15 for an Asahi! Can get a six pack for that much. Then they have the gall to charge a surcharge for using debit and credit cards. Good service gives them a 2 star review
The food was deplorably average. Every dish had something wrong with it. There was gristle in the chicken karage, the eggplant was overripe and seedy, the duck unbalanced...I won't go on. Simple quality checks in the kitchen are not being done. The interior is aged, my table was worn, with a sheen of waxy stickiness and my chair squeaked. OK for a cheap eats joint, but if Sake want to call themselves 'fine dining' they need to take a big step up to the plate. Save yourself the disappointment and eat elsewhere.
