I just want to thank the Brisbane Philippine Consulate for providing us with a super short notice and last minute tourist visa application request. I went there yesterday,my appointment was 1:40pm but got there earlier so the lady said to me,just wait a moment,and after a while they asked me to go inside,the 5 ladies inside the office was very helpful,and one of them is from where i am from back home in Phippines,they made me feel so comfortable,understand now why they only open once a week as they are all volunteers no pay,they were there tryin to help people like me not to travel far to Canberra for some couple of documents,and it really saved my time for not travelling so far,pus i don't need to wait for 3-4 days to get the papers as it happened so quick,in 15 mins i got them!!With my situation,i can say they are doing their best to help people,so let's not throw some awful words to them without knowing what's behind of everything,maybe i guess if you're polite enough you'll get assisted nicely.Be kind to one another.
