Melanie was extremely helpful educating me about the services offered. She was able to confirm that they could rush through my work request by the end of the day (Re-Key), however, when issues arrived, rather than waiting for me to come back, she was a great communicator presenting different solutions and costs involved. In less than an hour and Melanie called me back to confirm all works was completed and the fee was less than I expected, and much less than other quotes obtained around Brisbane. Great service in an easy to access location, I will definitely be using J Larsen for all future lock issues.

I will not use these guys again and do not recommend them.I started off wanting two door knobs to match the one key I already had. I dropped in after work to ask of they could do this, which they could, and they would also give me a deal on some Lockwood ones so I wouldn't need to go to Bunnings. Sounded good. They sent me home to measure some stuff, then rush back before they closed only to be told that they forgot to tell me it takes a while and wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. Annoying, why did i rush, but fine. Told a price of $130, I asked of that's the total, they said yes. Bunnings sells Lockwood locks for $49 each so it seemed about right for two rekeyed locks.Turn up the next day but only one lock is there. I wait 10 mins for them to do the second, before they give me a bill for $280. I'm told the $130 was actually just for one knob and oops that wasn't explained to me, again. So I'm two days into not having locks, it's almost 5pm, so I buy them. I get home, install them, and find out that one lock wasn't the measurements I gave them (the middle bit needed to be 70mm, not the standard 60mm, as I told them after they sent me home to measure) and so I'm stuck using half the old one just to get it working.Nothing about my experience with these guys was good. They were incompetent and for their prices you can get a locksmith to come to you
Quick and easy. Called up and got the right key waiting for me within minutes. Also got a key chain for my room mate and they chucked it in for free. Gave me the invoice in case the key didnt fit. Cant ask for something better for a locksmith. Thanks guys!
